Developing sustainable and resilient living communities: new public policy, new business agenda
We are pleased to welcome you to Hanoi for our 37th Congress. In the Vietnamese calendar year 2013 is a period of major changes and thus the need of preparation and good planning. The INTA Congress is perhaps a good opportunity for the Vietnamese planners to get more insights into some international good planning practices that may assist decision-making processes at a national and local level in Vietnam.
We applaud the Government of Vietnam, Ministry of Construction, the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam National Real Estate Association, and the many sponsors who worked hard to make this INTA Congress possible.
I hope that, as I end a six-year term as INTA President, INTA 37 Hanoi will become a benchmark for the future model for international cooperation between Vietnam and the international planning community as well as a model for future INTA events.
